Important Info For Marrakech Travels:

Itinerary For 4-Day tour to Merzouga and camel excursion:

Day 1 : Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou , Ouarzazate and Dades Gorges

Today you will travel with Marrocos Tours, and we will begin our tour in Marrakech, passing through Tizi-n-Tishka in the high Atlas Mountains, and then visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, which has also served as the backdrop for many films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander. After lunch, we'll visit the spectacular natural landscapes and ancient landmarks of Taourirt Kasbah in Ourzazate and the Valley of the Roses, which is famed for its annual Rose Festival. We'll also stop at the Berber settlements of El Kelaa des M'Gouna and Boumalene du Dades for the night. That concludes the first day's journey from Marrakech.

Day 2 : From Dades Gorges to Todra Gorges and Merzouga desert

Today we will go to Merzouga through the Berber settlement of Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. We will next travel through various Berber villages, stopping for lunch in Tinjdad or Rissani to try the local dish, Berber pizza. After lunch, we'll travel to Merzouga to begin our camel trip. We're getting ready for a camel ride into the desert. The 90-minute camel trip will take us to a Berber settlement in the center of the highest sand dunes in North Africa, the Erg Chebbi. Dinner will be served, followed by entertainment performed by Berber drums around the campfire.

Day 3 : From Merzouga desert to Todra Gorges and Ouarzazate

After witnessing the sunrise, our Marrakech Sahara trip will continue with a return to the hotel for showers and breakfast before continuing our drive through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. We'll spend the night in Ouarzazate in a hotel/riad.

After breakfast, we will continue our Marrakech Sahara trip by departing for Marrakech, traveling over the stunning High Atlas mountains, and dropping you off at your riad/hotel. That concludes the excursion from Marrakech.
