Info For Morocco Paris Dakar Tour

Itinerary For Morocco Sahara Tour: Paris- Dakar Tour 5 days:

Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Telouet - Ounila Valley - Ait ben haddou - Ouarzazate

Departure in the morning via the High Atlas to the port of Tizi Nà Tichka, at a height of 2,260 meters, passing through the Kasbah of Télouet (see the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui), with lunch on-site. the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou across the Berber-populated Ounila valley. Continue to Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Agdez - Draa Valley - Tazarine - Oasis Mharech (Dakar track)

Departure in the morning from Ouarzazate, heading south towards Agdz and passing over the mountains of the anti-Atlas port of Tizi-n-Tinififft (1,660 meters in altitude), we arrive at the greatest valley in Morocco (Draa Valley) (visit to the kasbah). We set out in the direction of N'kob, Tarazine, and Alnif, traversing 90 kilometers of vanished towns until we reach the oasis of Mharech. Several of these stages are traversed throughout the Dakar Rally. We will spend the night in a Riad located in the midst of nowhere.

Day 3: Mharech - Ramlia Oasis - Ouzina - Merzouga

Departure in the morning from Foum Mharech to Merzouga via the Dakar Rally route; we will cross further towns lost in the desert, Ouadis (dry riverbeds), oasis, and the Ouzina dunes. Following the route, we will reach the renowned city of Khamlia, whose inhabitants are descendants of African slaves, and you will be able to appreciate its magnificent folk music. From Khamlia, we will take the road to Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in Morocco. In the afternoon, we will climb Dromedarios, walk for 1h30 to reach the Jaimas camp in the middle of nowhere, watch the sunset in the middle of the great dunes of Erg chebbi, and spend the night in Jaima in the middle of the desert. Evening and supper at Jaimas.

Day 4: Merzourga - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

After witnessing an incredible sunrise over the desert, drive return to the lodge from Dromedary. After breakfast and a wash, we will go to Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco and the birthplace of the Alaou dynasty. The Palmeral de Tafilalet will be reached through the route to Erfoud, which is rich in black stone and marine fossils (with a view of one of the fossil factories). We are going to the Todra Gorges. We will then arrive at the Dades Valley for dinner and lodging.

Day 5: Dades - Valley of the Roses - Skoura - Marrakech

Departing the Dades Valley in the morning along the "Thousand Kasbahs" road, we will pass through the enchanting Valley of the Roses and arrive at the palm grove of Skoura, where the kasbah of the Amridil region is located. From here, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech, eating along the way; we will traverse the High Atlas Mountains again; and by the afternoon, we will reach Marrakech, the final destination.
